Good location near subway and plenty of food options around. Room was decently priced and clean. Complimentary breakfast had some variety.
Terrible service. Front desk was unorganized and didn't seem to care about guests.

I was suprised about the cleanliness and design of room for the price of hotel. Was pretty good, nice big flat screen TV, big walk in shower and decent sized room with a desk.
I didnt rate the staff or the front desk in general. They didnt understand me so their english wasnt very good, they charged me for a tiny map which didnt resemble the city at all. I asked them to book me a cab in which one guy picked up the phone whilst looking at me and then said hold on and then helped another customer and walked off. I was in a rush so I went outside and got one myself. Location wasnt good either quite far out of town but then it was fine for me as I wanted just a transfer hotel between the airport and town.

Staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Their English wasn't that of a native speaker but it was better than most and they were able to convey information to us with ease. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had a fantastic view of the city. Fantastic all around!

If you're looking for a hotel close to the airport, the Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Sanlin is a good choice. It is also conveniently located near the International Convention Center of Shanghai. the hotel provides a smoke-free environment and caters to tourists with its proximity to various attractions. the rooms are clean and modern, with spacious walk-in showers.
Some guests have mentioned difficulties with communication due to the limited English proficiency of the staff.

During my New Year stay, the hotel offered clean rooms and good WiFi. the location was convenient with plenty of food options nearby, including fast food and a supermarket. One of the best aspects was the complimentary breakfast, which included cereal and was decent enough to start the day.
There were also some downsides to my experience. the hotel staff did not speak English and it was not easy to communicate.
